With the funding and partnership with the European Union, the Misr Al -Khair Foundation inaugurates the project "Enhancing the role of civil organizations in sustainable development and climate work" sustainable empowerment "and carried out in four governorates.

During the effectiveness of yesterday, the Misr Al -Khair Foundation launched the project “Enhancing the role of civil organizations in sustainable development and climate action“ sustainable empowerment ” - funded by the European Union for a period of four years and the executor with 4 governorates: (Aswan - Luxor - Beni Suef - Fayoum)

He attended the inauguration and launch of the project, representatives of the local administration, executive and community leaderships in the targeted governorates, partner civil organizations, a number of representatives of international bodies and civil and development experts

During the meeting activities, a dialogue session entitled: The role of civil organizations in achieving sustainable development, in which experts of the National Planning Institute, the Information and Decision Support Center and the National Council for Human Rights participated.

The meeting was concluded with the signing ceremony of the cooperation and partnership protocol between Egypt and the civil organizations with the targeted governorates.

It is worth noting that the project aims to "develop the capabilities of civil societies in aspects of governance and active management in addition to helping them to formulate a development vision for sustainable development and climate work and establish a clear and effective mechanism for the participation of civil organizations in making decisions and policies to implement goals for sustainable development and climate work at the local and national levels."
